if they weren’t involved Part 2

I mentioned in an earlier post that without a couple people Good Grounds wouldn’t be.

The other person is my brother in law Jerry.

From the moment I brought up the idea of the trailer to he and Allison he was looking up trailers. Letting me know what sizes would be best. He said he’d help me build it! When I found the trailer in Utah he was up for the road trip. Mainly because he didn’t feel comfortable with me driving it back but he still went!

He has put in countless hours making sure the trailer was everything I wanted it to be. Working full time, working at my sisters barn and then still making time to help me.

Late nights cussing at the plumbing, so many trips to Home Depot, meeting me there to find the perfect sander after trying to help me decide over the phone, sending me to Home Depot with a list and ending up on FaceTime to be sure I’m getting the right thing. Raising up the sinks, deciding on the right tanks, making sure I was sure, no one could steal my precious generator.

Late nights when he would’ve rather been watching football and resting. Letting me ask all kinds of questions so that I could learn. Getting shocked when working on the electrical. Things that I would’ve been ok to let be, he made sure they were done right even if it meant more time working.

I know without a doubt if it weren’t for Jerry Good Grounds wouldn’t be and my dream would still be that.

Thank you Jer Bear!!
